Michael Tether-Peirce
Michael is the founder and Creative Director of Focus Film LLC, which he established in 2022. He’s had a camera in his hands since the age of 12, when he first began making vlogs of his adventures and learning the art of storytelling through video.

As Creative Director and lead filmmaker, Mike is present and involved throughout the wedding day, taking the time to get to know each couple and create an environment that feels relaxed and natural. His calm, personable approach helps couples feel comfortable in front of the camera, allowing their day to unfold authentically. As the primary editor, he makes each wedding film customized to his couples and their unique love stories.

Mike met his wife and business partner through a college Bible study, bonding over their shared love for faith, cats, and cameras. Outside of filmmaking, he enjoys going to the gym, playing basketball, and exploring local restaurants.
sarah Tether-Peirce
Sarah grew up in the Adirondacks, where her love for the camera was inspired by her grandfather's photography and nature walks with her grandmother.

Today, Sarah manages client communication, planning, and wedding-day flow for Focus Film, while also serving as the Director of Photography, bringing the colors and lighting in each film to life. Through her years as a wedding photographer and a degree in communications, Sarah brings a natural ease with people from the first meeting to the wedding day and beyond. Sarah and Mike got married in 2024 and combined their strengths into the film business to preserve wedding memories in an authentic and timeless way.

When she’s not working, Sarah enjoys spending time at the gym with Mike, going on outdoor adventures, or relaxing at home with her cats.
